one of the most diverse of the Caribbean islands.Dance to local Calypso bands on Bathway Beach on a public holiday (the beach is otherwise fabulously deserted); or
take the hydrofoil across to the sister island of Carriacou for some scuba-diving or snorkelling.

Food & Drink
French Creole-style dishes are typical on local menus.Grenada is famous for its Oil
Down (callalloo and other vegetables, meat/fish, coconut milk and spices all cooked together). A couple of great snacks are Roti – chick pea dough wrapped around spicy meat or fish curry – and Stuffed Crab Back.

Restaurants
Dinner at rhodes Restaurant at The Calabash is always a treat.Away from the hotels, we recommend Aquarium Beach Club, especially the lobster barbecue on Sundays, Coconut Beach (with your toes in the sand as you eat), Le Petit Bacaye (Westerhall) and Bel Air Plantation.
